1. What makes your country attractive to investors?

Mexico has a privileged geographical position, which is boosted by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and a competitive workforce. Its economy has strong fundamentals and sound institutions that protect investors’ interests.

2. What are the economic prospects for your country over the next three to five years?

Mexico will probably average a 3% real rate of growth over the medium term with price stability. If structural reforms are enacted, it could grow at higher rates.

3. How do you foresee the financial sector in your country changing?

Due to the major transformation achieved in the financial sector in the past decade, with a sound economy, credit will grow at double-digit numbers in the next three to five years.

4. What role will your bank play in your country’s future development?

Banorte will continue to strengthen its national franchise. By servicing its clients better with creative products and an agile response to their needs, rapid growth is expected in the consumer, SME and local government sectors.
