1. What makes your country attractive to investors?

A history of economic and political stability with robust GDP growth over a sustained period. Being small requires Slovenia to be internationally ‘open for business’.

2. What are the economic prospects for your country over the next three to five years?

A continuation of the economic growth experienced in the past decade and a half since Slovenia’s independence, with additional upside on economic exposure to south-east Europe.

3. How do you foresee the financial sector in your country changing?

Further consolidation into fewer and larger financial institutions. Banking sector players will evolve into wider financial services institutions.

4. What role will your bank play in your country’s future development?

NLB will continue to be a key partner for corporate Slovenia in fuelling domestic and international expansion across all financial services segments.
