1. What makes your country attractive to investors?

Germany is Europe’s largest and most important marketplace. The highly sophisticated demand creates a very competitive, but also innovative market environment.

2. What are the economic prospects for your country over the next three to five years?

In an ongoing period of sluggish growth, economic prospects will continue to vary significantly from sector to sector. Nevertheless, structural reforms will bear fruit over the course of the next few years.

3. How do you foresee the financial sector in your country changing?

Consolidation will continue, increasingly on a transborder scale. Banks with a regional focus that are not part of a larger group or financial network will face more and more difficulties to sustain their level of income.

4. What role will your bank play in your country's future development?

In the context of the cooperative financial services network, DZ Bank will try to further strengthen its domestic and international franchise as the ‘bank for banks’.
