1. What makes your country attractive to investors?

Norway will have a very favourable investment climate over the next few years. Low interest rates, low inflation and higher GDP growth than in the 12 eurozone countries will stimulate both consumption growth and investment. High oil prices and rising global trade underpin the bright prospects, as do its stable democracy and the strongest public finances in the world.

2. What are the economic prospects for your country over the next three to five years?

Above-trend growth of 2%-2.5% annually, driven by investments in housing and oil and services sectors, household income, public spending and international growth.

3. How do you foresee the financial sector in your country changing?

Increasing competition, more self-service, a search for niche markets and products with less transparent cost structure and products that remove risk from the balance sheet.

4. What role will your bank play in your country’s future development?

As the leading financial institution, DnB NOR will continue to play a key role in providing high-quality financial products to all sectors of the economy.
