Banque et Caisse D’Epargne

Jean-Claude Finck, CEO and President

1. What makes your country attractive to investors?

Luxembourg offers a full range of financial and legal services, combined with political stability and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, in finance as well as in commerce and industry.

2. What are the economic prospects for your country over the next years?

Economic forecasts predict sustainable growth in a range of 4% over the next two years. The evolution of the Luxembourg economy is, however, largely dependent on external factors so that national actors have only limited leeway to genuinely influence it.

3. How do you foresee the financial sector in your country changing?

The Luxembourg financial sector has always undergone reasonable but constant change. While continuing to focus on its key strengths, it will expand the range of products and services and maintain a paramount level of excellence.

4. What role will your bank play in your country’s future development?

BCEE is by law assigned the role of supporting Luxembourg’s social and economic development. The bank fulfils this mission particularly through the granting of housing mortgages and its holdings in key sectors of the national economy.
