“Banque et Caisse d’Epargne de l’Etat is the oldest financial institution in Luxembourg, and it is thanks to the steady efforts of our staff, combined with a policy of progressive but sound business development, that our bank has managed to grow over all this time and especially over the last decade,” says BCEE’s chairman and CEO Jean-Claude Finck.

“Our business is based on a reliable balance between tradition and innovation, on full compliance towards regulation and on the genuine involvement of the management and personnel of BCEE in achieving excellence. This creates a climate of confidence with our customers and confers on BCEE the label of a reliable institution deeply rooted in the economic and social context of Luxembourg and beyond its borders.”

Over the past year BCEE confirmed the success of its ZEBRA programme, a range of multi-product packages, including formulae designed for business customers. The bank also consolidated its position as the unchallenged market leader in electronic banking products in Luxembourg. BCEE now stands as the best rated bank in Luxembourg. Worldwide, only 10 other banks enjoy a higher rating by Moody’s and Standard & Poor’s.

BCEE has a banking relationship with 70% of Luxembourg residents, of which 47% consider BCEE their principal bank.
