More than 90% of high earners in European banks are male, says report

Strong gender imbalances persist among high earners in European banks and investment firms, according to a report published this week by the European Banking Authority.

The EBA has found that high earners — defined as those receiving at least €1mn in total remuneration — tend to be male, at a rate of 90.7 per cent in banks and 96.6 per cent in investment firms.
