The Finance Conduct Authority will consider the benefits and risks related to the presence of companies like Amazon and Apple in the provision of financial services, said Nikhil Rathi, chief executive at the UK regulator in a speech this week. 

In a statement, the FCA noted how, “Currently, Big Tech firms can access financial services data through open banking but are not required to share their data with the financial industry.”
