JPMorgan is partnering with treasury management software company Kyriba to streamline cross-border payments through the use of blockchain.

In the first collaborative integration for the bank’s blockchain platform Onyx, customers can operate their JPM Coin deposit accounts within Kyriba’s system, enabling treasury teams to manage real-time, cross-border transfers on a permissioned distributed ledger. JPM Coin is JPMorgan’s digital token that enables wholesale clients to make US dollar payments through a private network.
