Trump and Biden set for election rematch; UK economy grows in January after slipping into recession

Donald Trump and Joe Biden secured their respective party nominations on Tuesday for the 2024 US presidential election, setting the stage for a highly anticipated rematch of the 2020 race. 

The Associated Press reported yesterday that Trump garnered enough support to clinch the Republican nomination after winning the Washington primary, while Biden secured the Democratic nomination with a victory in the Georgia primary.
