US banks have the highest median tenure for employees, according to analysis from Resume.io, a careers resource platform.
HSBC USA tops the ranking of 20 banks with a median tenure of 10.2 years, which is also the joint highest median tenure of all companies alongside Neutrogena, the skincare and cosmetics company.
BMO Harris Bank (8.3 years) and Wells Fargo (7.4 years) round off the top three banks with the highest median tenure. US banks make up 17 of the 20 banks in the ranking.
Outside the US, Barclays has the highest median tenure (6.9 years), followed by TD Bank (6.6 years) and Santander Bank (6.1 years).
Resume.io built a list of the biggest banking employers and then visited the bank’s profiles on LinkedIn to gather the median tenure of their employees.
