As sustainability becomes embedded in banks’ operational frameworks, many companies have started to ask the question: ‘Who should lead sustainability?’ But not everyone is arriving at the same answer.

According to Mazars’ global sustainability practices stocktake report, almost all banks report that they have allocated responsibility for sustainability-related matters to a member of their senior management team.
