Seng Heng Bank

Seng Heng Bank has accompanied its clear international strategy for growth with fantastic financial performance. Seng Heng has also focused on containing costs by mapping and consolidating its key business processes in a processing centre.

The bank has launched the Financial and IT Centre of Macau, which connects international providers of products and services to the growing opportunities in the country, and physically brings together financial institutions and other businesses. As part of its expansion plans, Seng Heng Bank also opened a representative office in Portugal, positioning the bank for increased cross-border business between Europe and Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa and South America.

“We have a clear strategy for international growth,” says Patrick Huen, executive director and CEO. “[The FIT Centre and the Portuguese office] will serve as platforms to bridge Pearl River Delta business opportunities to a growing and global client base, and vice versa.”

Seng Heng Bank prides itself on being widely recognised as leading innovators in Macau, extending the bank’s reach into the China hinterland and internationally.
