Across the UK, disabled people are feeling let down by their financial providers. According to affordable credit provider Creditspring’s latest Financial Stability Tracker report, a third of disabled people (32%) think that financial providers do not understand their specific needs. Seventeen percent say that their lack of knowledge has led them to recommend unsuitable financial solutions for their circumstances.
These figures highlight the need for banks to take a more targeted approach when dealing with their customers’ needs, instead of treating them as a homogeneous group.
