Vietnam is hoping for a year of strong growth as it sees an uptick in foreign companies setting up manufacturing in the country, and increasing tourism numbers. 

Vietnam saw gross domestic product growth of 5.1 per cent in 2023, and is forecast to see it rise as high as 6–6.5 per cent in 2024, making Vietnam one of the strongest growth environments in south-east Asia.
